FMCSA data is sourced from federal databases and is updated periodically. There may be delays between changes in a carrier's operating status, insurance coverage, or safety record and when those changes are reflected on TrueVerify. Users should verify critical information directly with the FMCSA at safer.fmcsa.dot.gov before making time-sensitive business decisions.

2. Trust Score Methodology

Trust Scores are calculated using a proprietary algorithm that combines federal data, community ratings, and payment behavior reports. A high Trust Score does not guarantee future performance, and a low Trust Score does not necessarily indicate fraud. All business decisions should be made using multiple sources of information.

Trust Scores may fluctuate as new data becomes available, including new ratings, updated FMCSA records, or changes in payment behavior reports. Historical Trust Scores are not stored and cannot be retrieved.

A single negative rating does not necessarily indicate a pattern of poor conduct, just as a single positive rating does not guarantee reliability. We encourage users to consider the overall volume and pattern of ratings when evaluating a company.

Scam reports submitted by users are reviewed before publication. A pending or verified scam report does not constitute a legal finding of fraud or criminal activity.
